It can be used as a carrier oil infused with small amounts of essential oils. It is known to have anti ageing benefits and can be used to treat scars. It is known to brighten dull hair and infuse strands with moisture. It was cultivated by Persia, Greece and Rome in 16th Century (first noted European historical point). Was used historically throughout Chinese Medicine. It was cultivated in England during WWII as a citrus alternative to provide Vitamin C to soldiers and citizens.
